MA Living is on a mission to become the first totally environmentally friendly furniture manufacturer in West Yorkshire. We are committed to reducing our carbon emissions, energy, water consumption, and waste, with a vision to be totally 'Green' by 2030.

Our Product & Manufacturing Commitment
We are currently conducting a full environmental audit of our operations to ensure we meet our 2030 goals. Key focus areas include:
- Materials: 100% recyclable fabric sourcing; foam offcuts recycled via baling; timber sourced exclusively from FSC-certified, well-managed forests.
- Resource Efficiency: Reducing staples and hardware in favor of expert sewing skills and mono-materials to ensure products are biodegradable or compostable.
- Packaging: Moving to 100% recyclable plastic or alternative minimized packaging options.
- Waste Management: Partnering with a Carbon Neutral company with a 'Zero to Landfill' policy; non-recyclables are incinerated to create energy.
The Path Forward
Our commitment is project-managed to ensure we achieve our vision by 2030. To accelerate our impact, we have identified several "quick wins" requiring immediate focus:
